About Bradford and Craven MVP

We are a group of parents and professionals who work together to help shape and develop maternity services in Bradford District and Craven.

The Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) meets 6 times a year.  Three main meetings are made up of partner agencies including Head of Maternity and Community Midwifery Teams from Airedale General Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary.  We also hold three All Things Maternity Platform Sessions for individual parents and voluntary community sector partners.

We organise engagement events, gather parents’ experiences and work on a number of collaborative projects with both maternity teams.

We love meeting with women and their families to hear their experiences and ideas.

We are funded by Bradford District and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).  The partnership is coordinated by the Engaging People Project (EPP) CNet, a voluntary community sector infrastructure organisation.

From March 2020 all our meeting moved across to a virtual platform (zoom) and since Autumn 2021 we have moved to a hybrid model combining both face to face meetings/events and virtual.
